Havendeen’s commitment to providing a safe environment for all workers on site sets us apart from competitors. We ensure that upskilling and training is provided to all of our team to maintain and improve their knowledge of important safety procedures. Havendeen is proud to be affiliated with the “ZERO HARM AT WORK” leadership program. This program enforces safety procedures that are approachable and positive, reducing the amount of workplace injuries. It also allows Havendeen to share innovation, knowledge and experience with other organisations.

Our Team includes a full time Safety Manager, whose work includes the creation, auditing and reviewing of SWMS’s, JHA’s and SWI’s. This is completed on a weekly basis to ensure compliance with Legislation and Regulations. Bi-weekly site inspections are undertaken as a minimum to monitor the overall safety conditions of all Havendeen employees and subcontractors.

As a result of our commitment on safety leadership, Havendeen were proud to accept the “Safety and Innovation Award of 2012” from Baulderstone for our work on the Mackay Base Hospital.
