HOTA Gallery is a 2021 Gold Coast Housing & Construction Awards winner for Tourism and Leisure Facilities over $10 million.

Havendeen Roofing were engaged on the Project to undertake the roofing and roof safety work packages. The complex design of the Gallery meant a few challenges along the way where extra planning went into the details used on the roofing works. An acoustic layer both above and below the roof structure added extra complexity during construction and now provide the gallery with an AAA rated international standard exhibition spaces along with works from other trades.

During numerous meetings with the Gold Coast City Council, Builder, Architect and Suppliers, Havendeen were able to move forward with complex roof and façade access systems as well for both the internal feature stair and external façade.
